A little about meI'm the Vice President of Engineering at Hit Refresh, a Singaporean robotics startup aiming to bring fresh, healthy food to the masses.
Previously, I was the Foundee (Founder-Employee) and Technical Lead of Chowbotics, a Silicon Valley food robotics pioneer with offices in Hayward, California and Dongguan, China. Here, I co-invented the world's first salad-making robot. We have won praise from prestigious publications such as the New York Times and Bloomberg and have been named one of the most innovative companies in the world. In addition to that, our creation, Sally, the world's first fresh food robot, has been adjudged the Most Innovative Product of the Year for 2018 by the Best in Biz Awards. I've been fortunate to start my career in Silicon Valley and follow that up with a long stint near Shenzhen, the hardware capital of the world. Now you can find me plying my trade in beautiful, bustling Singapore. On the side, I write a science and technology column for Malaysia's most widely read news portal, Free Malaysia Today.
